9-11, Commercial Road, Skelmanthorpe, Huddersfield. HD8 9DA.
From Huddersfield Town Centre (approx 8 miles), take the Wakefield Road through Aspley, Moldgreen, Dalton and Waterloo. At the Waterloo public house, fork right to Fenay Bridge, passing the entrance to Morrisons supermarket on your left. Carry on along Penistone Road straight on through the White Horse pub traffic lights. Take your next left up into Kirkburton. Keep going up the hill into Shelley and passing Shelley Garden Centre on the right. Skelmanthorpe is the next village along. As you descend down the hill into the village, you will pass The Grove pub on your left and a bit further along, the village Post Office on your right. Volare is in the next row of buildings on the left. If you have passed the Coop on your right, you have gone too far but there is public car parking available behind the coop. The nearest place to park, is to turn right after passing the post office and park in the library/council office car park or on New Street.
From Wakefield City Centre (approx 11 miles) or M1 junction 39 (approx 9 miles), head towards Denby Dale on Denby Dale Road. You will pass through Crigglestone continuing up to Bretton roundabout. Go straight across at the roundabout and continue on towards Clayton West and Scissett. Scissett swimming baths is on your right. Keep going through Scissett and watch for the sign at Scissett Church that will direct you to turn right up to Skelmanthorpe. Pass the Windmill Pub on the bend and continue on, passing the Chartist Pub on the left and 3 Horse Shoe Pub on the right. The Coop will come into view on the left so get ready to turn left for car parking. Volare is on the main road on the right.
Sheffield M1. Junction 38 (approx 6 miles), head towards Bretton village centre. Continue on through Bretton village to Bretton roundabout. Turn left onto Denby Dale Road, towards Denby Dale and Clayton West. Please refer to the instructions in the previous paragraph from here.
Barnsley Town Centre (approx 11 miles). Take Huddersfield Road towards Barugh Green and follow signs to Kexborough. Turn left into Kexborough and continue through towards High Hoyland and into Clayton West. When you reach Denby Dale Road at the bottom of Clayton West, turn left towards Scissett. Turn right at Scissett Church into Skelmanthorpe. Volare is a mile or so on the right. See previous paragraphs for more parking info.
Kirkheaton, Grange Moor, Mirfield. From Grange Moor roundabout (approx 4 miles), take the turning towards Lepton, Huddersfield passing Orlando's Italian restaurant on the right. Take your next left onto Paul Lane and continue along towards Emley Moor mast. When you get to the T junction at the mast (farm shop should be on your right), turn left. Continue on and take your first available right turn which will bring you into Skelmanthorpe. Turn left at the Grove Pub and Volare is on the left after 300 yards or so. Public car parking is available behind the library/council office and the Coop on the right
Holmfirth (approx 7 miles), head towards New Mill. Once in Mew mill, turn left towards Shepley. Continue up the hill until you reach The Sovereign Pub. Go diagonally across at the junction, heading towards Upper Cumberworth. Take a left turn at The Star Pub. Continue on into Lower Cumberworth and take a right turn after passing The Foresters Arms Pub. At your next junction, turn right and Volare is on your left in 300 yards, car parking to the right (see previous paragraphs for more parking info).
